Home State Determination
The Home State of an applicant will be determined in terms of any of the following criteria:
01
The location of the Institution from where the applicant passed the qualifying Board / Council/ University examination.

In case of candidates who have passed from the Institutions located outside the States/UT given above, the home state will be determined on the basis of either [a] The current place of posting of the applicant’s father / mother / spouse on Transfer / Settle down on Retirement on or after 30.06.2021 in the Central Govt./ Autonomous Institution / Organization which should be supported by certificate from the Competent Authority mentioning the date of transfer / retirement and complete postal address. OR [b] Residential and nativity certificate from the Competent Authority not below the rank of Tahasildar of above mentioned States & UT.

In case of RIE-Bhubaneswar Pass out students seeking admission to 1 Year M.Phil. in Education , the Home State will be determined on the basis of the states from which they were first admitted to this Institute.
Documents required for Determination of Home State The document needed to determine Home State can be any of the following.

Certificate of qualifying Board/ Council/ University examination.
02
In case of transfer / settle down on retirement of the applicant’s father / mother / spouse in the Central Govt./Autonomous Institution / Organization, Certificate from Competent Authority mentioning the date of transfer / retirement and complete postal address.
03
Residential and Nativity certificate from Competent Authority not below the rank of Tahasildar of the respective State/UT.
